Description

This market refers to the Valorant Round 6 match between Alliance Guardians and Pigeons in the VCL North America: Stage 2 Group Stage, initially scheduled for April 20 at 7:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Alliance Guardians" if Alliance Guardians win the match against Pigeons. This market will resolve to "Pigeons" if Pigeons win the match against Alliance Guardians. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://vlr.gg. However, if https://vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All Polymarket questions share identical resolution logic based on official vlr.gg results, with consistent handling of cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, forfeits, and incomplete matches. Kalshi has no detailed rules available but the underlying event is the same.

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from https://vlr.gg, with fallback to consensus of credible reporting and video evidence if vlr.gg does not publish results within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match resolves based on the outcome of the Valorant BO3 between Alliance Guardians and Pigeons in VCL North America Stage 2 Group Stage, scheduled for April 20 at 7:00 PM ET.
  • If the match is canceled entirely, delayed beyond 7 days without play beginning, or ends in a tie, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • If the match begins but is incomplete, markets resolve based on completed maps/results where applicable; incomplete maps resolve 50-50.
  • Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward the result, provided the match is completed.
  • If the match ends due to forfeit before play begins, the match winner market resolves 50-50; if one team forfeits after play begins, the non-forfeiting team wins.
  • Individual map winners resolve based on the team that wins that specific map; the series winner resolves to the team winning 2 maps in the BO3.
  • Games Total Over/Under 2.5 resolves Over if 3+ maps are played, Under if fewer than 3 maps are played.
  • Map Handicap AG (-1.5) resolves to Alliance Guardians if they win 2 or more maps than Pigeons, otherwise to Pigeons.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Clinching Map Forfeit: If the match-clinching map (Map 3 in a BO3) is forfeited, this counts as a completed match and resolves normally to the team that clinched.
  • Incomplete Map Resolution: If a map begins but is not completed for any reason, that specific map market resolves 50-50; however, if other maps are completed, those resolve normally.
  • Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 20) without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Source Fallback Timeline: If vlr.gg does not publish final results within 2 hours of event conclusion, credible reporting and video evidence may be used as consensus source.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official publication by vlr.gg or, if unavailable within 2 hours of match conclusion, upon consensus of credible reporting and video evidence.
