On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the second half. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price converges towards what the market believes is the true probability. The current price is determined by the forces of supply and demand, with buyers pushing the price up and sellers pushing it down. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market is constantly updating its assessment of the event’s likelihood.
