In the upcoming FIFA International Friendlies game between Uzbekistan and IR Iran, scheduled for September 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Uzbekistan vs. IR Iran match originally scheduled for September 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance their risk and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective belief of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise – where you could theoretically profit by betting on both venues. However, it’s important to consider factors like transaction fees and withdrawal limits when evaluating such opportunities. It's common to see this market adjust rapidly to new information and perceived advantages.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market's implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to find an equilibrium point where buyers and sellers agree on value. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand, influenced by news, analysis, and the overall sentiment of traders participating in this market. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information available.
This market resolves around Sep 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Uzbekistan vs. Iran match will be used to determine the winning share(s). Resolution will depend on official sources providing a definitive result. Traders should monitor reputable sports news outlets for updates as the match progresses, as this will influence the final outcome and the settlement of this market. The exact resolution process is defined by Polymarket’s market rules.
Several signals could significantly move this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Uzbekistan or Iran would likely impact the implied probabilities. Unexpected changes in weather conditions at the match venue could also be a factor. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from respected football commentators or analysts, if it deviates significantly from the current market consensus, could trigger shifts in trading activity. Finally, any late-breaking news related to team morale or internal conflicts could also influence traders' perceptions and move this market.
