Over time, the odds on Polymarket may converge with or diverge from sportsbook lines as new information becomes available and traders adjust their positions based on analysis and insights.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes of the Utah vs. Iowa State game, and the price of each share reflects the market’s current belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price fluctuates based on supply and demand – if more people believe an outcome is likely, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice-versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the aggregated intelligence of all participants.
