This market will resolve to "YES" if either USA or Paraguay makes at least one official substitution before the 60:00 minute mark (1’ to 59’ incl.) in the USA vs Paraguay World Cup match scheduled for June 13, 2026, 01:00 UTC. The substitution must be completed (player has left the pitch and replacement has entered) and recorded in the Lineup section of the official FIFA.com match report for this specific game. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." Substitutions made during halftime count as occurring at 45:00 and would resolve the market to "YES." If the match is not played and completed with an official result by July 13, 2026, 12:00 UTC, the market will resolve to "NO." If the data on the website is unavailable for 72 hours after the match is completed, a consensus of credible reporting will be used.

The market resolves on Jun 14, 2026. Resolution is determined by whether either the USA or Paraguay makes a substitution before the 60th minute of the match is completed. The outcome is binary: if at least one team has made a substitution by that point, the affirmative outcome resolves yes; otherwise it resolves no. Official match records and broadcast footage serve as the source of truth for substitution timing.
Key signals include team lineups and injury reports released before kickoff, which may force early tactical changes. Early match events—such as player injuries, red cards, or one team falling behind—often trigger substitutions within the first hour. Coach tendencies and historical patterns of both teams also influence the probability. Real-time match momentum, weather conditions, and performance gaps between the sides can all prompt managers to adjust their strategy sooner rather than later, moving the market price as traders reassess the likelihood of an early substitution.
