Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market may show different probabilities than major sportsbooks for the exact score, particularly for less-common scorelines. Comparing the two can reveal where informed traders see value relative to conventional betting markets, though both reflect genuine uncertainty about the final result.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on order flow and liquidity. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each possible exact score outcome has its own contract, and the price of each reflects the probability traders assign to that scoreline occurring. As more capital flows into a particular outcome, its price rises and others fall proportionally. The market remains open to trading until resolution, allowing prices to continuously update as new information emerges about team form, injuries, or other relevant factors.
This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, once the match between Yacoub El Mansour and Raja Club Athletic concludes and the final score is confirmed. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regular time, verified against credible public sources covering the event. Traders holding shares in the correct final score receive their payout, while all other positions expire worthless. Early resolution is not typical unless the match is officially abandoned or rescheduled by the governing body.
Several factors could shift odds before the match kicks off. Team news—injuries to key players, lineup changes, or tactical shifts—often triggers significant repricing, as does recent form and head-to-head history. Weather conditions and venue factors may influence scoring patterns. As the match date approaches, late-breaking developments such as suspensions or unexpected roster moves can alter trader expectations. During the match itself, early goals or red cards will cause sharp moves in the odds for various scorelines, with traders continuously updating their probability estimates based on live action.
