Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are priced by traders competing to profit from accurate forecasts. This market aggregates the views of many independent participants rather than a single operator, which can produce sharper, more efficient pricing on niche outcomes like exact scores. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal where the crowd sees value that traditional oddsmakers may have mispriced.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling shares of each exact-score outcome through an automated market maker. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome's price reflects the cumulative bets placed on it; as more traders back a particular scoreline, its price rises, and vice versa. The top outcome currently reflects strong market conviction. Prices update in real time as new orders flow in, allowing you to enter or exit positions at the prevailing market rate. This continuous pricing mechanism ensures the odds stay responsive to new information and shifting trader sentiment.
This market resolves around Jun 18, 2026, once the match between US Yacoub El Mansour and HUS Agadir concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regulation play. Whichever exact-score option matches the official final result will be marked correct, and all positions on that outcome will be paid out at full value. Positions on all other scorelines will expire worthless.
Team news and roster updates can shift odds significantly, particularly injury announcements or lineup changes affecting either side's attacking or defensive strength. Recent form, head-to-head history, and any public statements from coaches or players may also influence trader positioning. Betting patterns from sharp money or large institutional traders can trigger rapid repricing as other participants react. Weather conditions, venue factors, and late-breaking tactical adjustments closer to kickoff often drive final adjustments. As the match date approaches, this market typically tightens around the most likely scorelines while long-shot outcomes may drift.
