Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

The primary resolution source is the official statistics from the governing body or event organizers, with fallback sources specified.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics published by the governing body or event organizers, with fallback to Flashscore, then Sofascore, then credible reporting consensus

Core resolution logic:

  • Resolve based on which team scores more goals in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time
  • Draw if both teams score the same number of goals in the second half
  • If the match is canceled with no make-up game, resolve to Draw
  • Revisions to officially published final statistics after market resolution are not considered

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Match Cancellation: If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the market resolves to Draw
  • Data Source Fallback: If official statistics are not available within 24 hours, use Flashscore; if unavailable, use Sofascore; if both unavailable, use credible reporting consensus
Timing: Resolution occurs after the match concludes and official statistics are published, or within 48 hours if fallback sources are neededOur PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect the actual probability that traders assign to each outcome, driven by continuous trading activity. In this market, the pricing updates instantly with new information, such as player injuries or recent performance, while sportsbooks may adjust less frequently and incorporate their own margins. Comparing both can reveal mispricings or confirm where the crowd sees value.
