Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own models and may adjust based on betting action, whereas this market is driven purely by individuals expressing their beliefs through trading. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, biases, or risk assessments. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information, especially if it isn’t widely reflected in public opinion or sportsbook lines.
