Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to dynamically price the probability of each outcome based on available information. If a significant discrepancy exists, it may indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event, or that new information hasn't been fully incorporated into sportsbook lines. It’s common to see convergence as the event approaches, but differences can persist.
