Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms consistently define resolution based on official Grand Slam statistics, with a 14-day window for completion and clear rules for incomplete matches, retirements, and cancellations.Primary resolution logic: Official Grand Slam statistics

Core resolution logic:

  • Resolution is based on official match statistics from the WTA Tour.
  • Incomplete matches are resolved based on completed play or a 50-50 split.
  • Tiebreaks are counted as one game or one set, depending on the market.
  • A 14-day window (until September 16, 2026, 11:59 PM ET) exists for match completion.
  • Cancellation or failure to begin play within the timeframe results in a 50-50 resolution unless an outcome is already determined.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Match Abandonment: If a match is permanently abandoned before completion, markets resolve 50-50 unless an outcome is already unconditionally determined based on completed play.
  • Retirement/Default: If a player retires or defaults, markets resolve based on the completed portion of play, or 50-50 if no outcome is determined.
  • Tiebreaks: Tiebreaks count as one game for game total markets and one set for total set markets.
Timing: Resolution will occur after the match is completed or after September 16, 2026, 11:59 PM ET if the match is not completed. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Sportsbooks set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while prediction markets allow anyone to trade on their beliefs, creating a dynamic and responsive price discovery process. This can lead to prediction market odds being more accurate, especially when a significant amount of volume is traded. However, sportsbooks may offer different types of bets and may have different margins built into their odds, so comparing them directly can be complex.
