On Polymarket, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds adjust dynamically based on real-time trading activity, often showing sharper movements than sportsbook odds, which may incorporate additional factors like broker margins or broader public betting trends. The difference can be notable, especially as the match approaches, with this market sometimes pricing in nuanced probabilities that sportsbooks may smooth out for broader appeal.
This market resolves around Sep 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result is determined by the official match conclusion at the US Open, and the market will close immediately after the final point is confirmed.
Injuries, player form leading up to the match, weather conditions on match day, and key moments during the live match — such as breaks of serve or decisive sets — could all shift this market. Any unexpected developments that affect the players’ performance or readiness may cause rapid changes in odds as traders react.
