This market tracks whether a golfer will place in the top 10 after the opening round of the 2026 U.S. Open. On Kalshi, the leading outcome currently stands at 80.0%. Resolution will be determined by official U.S. Open scoring as reported by the tournament organizers. Watch for the completion of Round 1 play on June 18, 2026, when final leaderboard positions will be confirmed and the market will settle.
Each golfer's market resolves Yes if they finish in the top 10 (including ties) in the 1st Round of the 2026 U.S. Open. If a golfer forfeits, withdraws, or doesn't participate prior to teeing off, the market resolves to Fair Market Price. If they withdraw or forfeit after teeing off, the market resolves to No.
The U.S. Open: Round 1 Top 10 Finishers market resolves on Jun 18, 2026, after Round 1 play concludes and official leaderboards are finalized. Resolution is determined by the official PGA Tour and U.S. Golf Association scoring records for Round 1. Each contract settles to 100 cents if the named golfer finishes in the top 10 of the Round 1 leaderboard, or 0 cents if they finish outside the top 10 or do not complete the round. Ties are resolved according to standard tournament tiebreaker rules, and any player who withdraws before completing Round 1 settles to 0 cents.
Several catalysts can shift U.S. Open Round 1 top-10 finisher odds before Jun 18, 2026. Player injuries or late withdrawals immediately reduce a golfer's top-10 probability to near zero. Course setup changes, such as pin placements or rough conditioning announced during practice rounds, affect perceived difficulty and player-specific edge. Weather forecasts—wind speed, temperature, rain—influence which playing styles and course-management skills favor certain competitors. Recent tournament results and player form updates shift market expectations of Round 1 performance. Equipment or swing changes disclosed by top contenders can trigger repricing. Finally, betting volume spikes often correlate with media coverage or odds movement on related markets, creating momentum-driven price swings.
