Generally, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often converging towards probabilities that are more accurate than those initially offered by sportsbooks. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes differ due to factors like house bias or differing risk assessments. It’s common to see initial discrepancies, especially before significant trading volume occurs in this market. Sportsbooks may also adjust their odds more slowly than Polymarket’s market responds to new information or shifts in public opinion regarding the likely outcome of the US Open Juniors Girls Doubles.
