Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin, while this market aims to reflect the true probability as assessed by traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, information advantages held by market participants, or simply variations in how each assesses the likelihood of a particular outcome. Examining these differences can be valuable for informed decision-making, but it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees.
