On Polymarket, this market is priced through decentralized trader activity, while Kalshi uses its own liquidity pool and participant base. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. This often creates price gaps, especially for events with uneven information flow or regional interest. Currently, Polymarket and Kalshi show different leading outcomes, which can amplify the divergence until consensus forms closer to the match.
