On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective assessment of the event’s potential results, driven by informed participants.

The market will determine which pairing ultimately wins the match, and that result will be used to settle all outstanding shares.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or even shifts in public perception could lead to price fluctuations. Unexpected performance in earlier rounds of the tournament for either team could also significantly impact the market. Additionally, major upsets in other matches within the US Open could alter the overall competitive landscape and affect how traders assess the probabilities of this particular contest.
