Otherwise, it will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "NO." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect trader sentiment and can adjust more dynamically. While sportsbooks set fixed lines, this market lets participants bet on precise probabilities, which can diverge based on trading volume and recent news. For example, a sharp move in trader confidence may push implied chances higher or lower than standard point spreads or moneylines.
On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary due to differences in user base, liquidity, and trading activity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one platform might see heavier betting on a particular outcome, skewing its price. Additionally, each venue has its own fee structure and market design, which can influence how traders place bets and what odds they accept.
Injuries, weather updates, and tactical changes can all shift this market as the match nears. Key moments like starting lineups, recent form, or even shifts in betting volume on either platform may cause prices to adjust. Traders will also watch for any last-minute news — such as coaching decisions or pitch conditions — that could affect the teams' performance on game day.
