Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match result of US Catanzaro 1929 vs. Modena FC 2018 scheduled for March 17, 2026, considering only the outcome within 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body (Lega Serie B) or event organizers; if not published within 2 hours after conclusion, consensus of credible reporting may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves YES for draw if the match ends in a tie after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES for Catanzaro win if US Catanzaro 1929 scores more goals than Modena FC 2018 after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES for Modena win if Modena FC 2018 scores more goals than US Catanzaro 1929 after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Exactly one of the three outcome markets (draw, Catanzaro win, Modena win) will resolve YES.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed. Resolution then occurs based on the actual match result.
Cancellation Without Make-Up: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, the draw market resolves YES (treating cancellation as a non-decisive outcome), while both win markets resolve NO.
Extra Time and Penalties: Resolution is based only on the result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shootouts are not considered for resolution purposes.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of final match statistics by Lega Serie B or event organizers within 2 hours after match conclusion, or upon consensus of credible reporting if official statistics are delayed beyond 2 hours.
