On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Team news—injuries to key players, lineup announcements, or tactical changes—often triggers sharp moves. The first-half result itself is a major signal; if Uruguay dominates early, traders may raise their odds for a second-half win, or if Cabo Verde surprises, uncertainty may increase. Weather conditions, referee assignments, and recent form updates can also influence conviction. As match day approaches, late-breaking roster confirmations and pre-match analysis from expert sources typically drive final price adjustments. Real-time match events during the first half will be the strongest driver of second-half pricing.
