Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time crowd sentiment rather than fixed bookmaker pricing. Sportsbooks adjust odds to manage liability; prediction markets adjust based on continuous trading. For the United States vs. Paraguay second half, comparing Polymarket prices to major sportsbooks reveals whether the crowd is more or less confident than professional oddsmakers. Prediction markets typically react faster to breaking news, team updates, or in-game developments, making them useful for spotting value relative to static sportsbook lines.

On Polymarket, the United States vs. Paraguay second half result is priced through continuous automated market makers or order-book mechanisms, where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices reflect the cumulative bets of all participants, with each outcome assigned a probability between 0 and 100 percent. As traders accumulate positions, prices shift to balance supply and demand. You can enter or exit positions at any time before Jun 13, 2026, and your entry price depends on the current market state and order flow at that moment.

The market resolves on Jun 13, 2026, after the second half of the United States vs. Paraguay match concludes. Resolution is determined by the official final result of the second half only, not the full match. The specific outcome categories—such as United States win, Paraguay win, or draw—are settled based on the score recorded by the governing sports authority at the end of the second half. Early resolution may occur if the match is abandoned or postponed beyond a specified deadline.

Key catalysts include team lineups and injury announcements before kickoff, which shift perceived strength in the second half. In-game events—such as goals, red cards, or tactical substitutions during the first half—directly influence second half expectations. Weather conditions, referee decisions, and momentum swings alter trader confidence in each outcome. Player form, recent match history, and any last-minute roster changes can trigger sharp price moves. As the second half approaches on Jun 13, 2026, real-time score updates and team performance will drive the most significant odds adjustments.
