The market resolves based on the official first goal scored within regulation time only, excluding extra time and penalty shootouts.
In the upcoming match between United States and Belgium, scheduled for July 6, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET: This market will resolve to "United States" if United States are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. This market will resolve to "Belgium" if Belgium are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. If neither team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which can cause temporary price divergence. Polymarket and Predict may also have distinct user bases with varying risk appetites or information access. Arbitrage traders typically exploit these gaps, but brief misalignments persist due to withdrawal delays, platform-specific rules, or regional trading patterns. Monitoring both venues helps identify whether price differences reflect genuine market disagreement or temporary friction, making it a useful signal for sophisticated traders.
Team news—injuries to key strikers, lineup changes, or tactical shifts—can significantly alter scoring probabilities. Recent form, head-to-head records, and venue conditions also influence trader sentiment. Major betting syndicates or sharp money flowing into one side may signal confidence and shift prices rapidly. Media coverage, expert predictions, and social media momentum can amplify retail interest. As match day nears, final team sheets and weather updates often trigger last-minute repricing. Monitoring these catalysts helps traders anticipate moves before they're fully reflected in market prices.
