Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders responding to real-time information and their own forecasts. Sportsbooks may adjust lines more slowly, whereas this market can shift instantly as new data emerges. Comparing the two can reveal arbitrage opportunities or consensus gaps, though prediction markets tend to aggregate dispersed information efficiently over time.
On Polymarket, traders set prices for each exact score outcome through an automated market maker or order book mechanism, with each scoreline represented as a separate contract. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of any outcome reflects the collective belief of all traders—higher prices indicate stronger conviction that outcome will occur. Liquidity varies across different score predictions, so less common scorelines may have wider bid-ask spreads. As match day approaches and new information surfaces, prices adjust dynamically to reflect updated expectations.
This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, once the match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regular play. No ambiguity exists—only one exact score will be correct, and all other predictions will be incorrect. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final whistle, allowing traders to settle positions quickly.
Team news—injuries, suspensions, or lineup changes—can shift odds significantly for both sides. Recent form, head-to-head records, and home-field advantage all influence trader expectations about likely scorelines. Weather conditions and referee assignments may also matter. As the match date draws closer, any official announcements about player availability or tactical adjustments will ripple through this market. Once play begins, live score updates and momentum swings will drive rapid repricing of remaining outcomes.
