Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven purely by trader conviction and information flow. In this market, the odds you see represent what thousands of independent traders believe will happen in the second half, rather than a bookmaker's calculated spread. Many analysts find prediction market prices more responsive to breaking news and real-time developments, though both sources offer valuable perspectives on likely outcomes.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares that represent each possible second-half outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective probability assigned by the market; if most traders believe a particular result is likely, that share's price rises, and vice versa. You can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, and your profit or loss depends on whether your chosen outcome occurs. The continuous price discovery process ensures the odds adapt as new information emerges.
This market resolves around Jul 11, 2026, once the second half of the Ulsan vs. Jeonbuk match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the final score recorded in the official match record, including any goals, own goals, or other scoring events that occur during the second half only. Early goals or events from the first half do not affect this market's resolution. Once the match ends and the result is confirmed, the market settles automatically based on the verified outcome.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before it closes. Team news—such as injuries to key players, lineup announcements, or tactical changes—often triggers sharp price moves. Live match developments during the first half, including early goals or red cards, typically influence trader expectations for the second-half result. Weather conditions, recent form, and head-to-head history may also influence positioning. As kickoff approaches, final confirmation of starting lineups and any last-minute roster adjustments can cause notable repricing. Real-time momentum during the match itself will be the strongest driver of late movement.
