In the upcoming K-League game between Ulsan HD FC and Gangwon FC, scheduled for August 16, 2026 at 6:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Ulsan HD FC vs. Gangwon FC match originally scheduled for August 16, 2026 at 6:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
The event determines if a specified threshold of goals is surpassed in the Gangwon versus Gamba AFC Champions League match scheduled for August 11, 2026, considering only regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time). Each market corresponds to a different goal threshold (over 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, or 5.5 goals). If the cumulative goals meet or exceed the threshold for a given market, that market resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. Extra time and penalty kicks are explicitly excluded from all calculations. The rules clarify that Kalshi, the platform, holds no official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
On Polymarket, odds in this market reflect crowd-sourced expectations rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction markets often price in subtler factors like recent form or weather impacts that sportsbooks may smooth out. Because traders can create custom outcomes, probabilities can appear more volatile. For example, a narrow win may have higher implied odds here than at a sportsbook, reflecting sharper or more divided expectations among participants.
Injuries, weather updates, or tactical changes announced by coaches can shift expectations and move this market. Key moments like recent head-to-head performances or sudden form swings may also cause rapid adjustments. As the match nears, any news that alters perceived likelihood of specific scoring outcomes — even minor updates — can create noticeable price swings among traders on both platforms.
