PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms (Kalshi, Polymarket, Predict) apply identical resolution logic tied to official UFC determination, with harmonized edge case treatment for draws, disqualifications, no contests, and postponements beyond June 28, 2026.Primary resolution logic: Official UFC sources (ufc.com/events and UFC official fight result announcements)

Core resolution logic:

  • Winner determination: Resolves to the fighter officially declared winner by UFC; 50-50 if draw, no contest, not scored, or postponed beyond June 28, 2026
  • KO/TKO victory: Resolves Yes if specified fighter wins by knockout, technical knockout, referee stoppage, doctor stoppage, or corner stoppage; No if opponent wins or decision reached; 50-50 if draw, disqualification, no contest, or postponement beyond June 28, 2026
  • Submission victory: Resolves Yes if fight ends by tapout, verbal submission, or technical submission (referee stoppage due to submission hold); No if opponent wins or decision reached; 50-50 if draw, disqualification, no contest, or postponement beyond June 28, 2026
  • Round duration (O/U 0.5, 1.5, 2.5): Over resolves Yes if fight continues past the 2:30 mark of the specified round; Under resolves Yes if fight ends before 2:30 of that round; 50-50 if fight ends exactly at 2:30 threshold or bout is not scored/canceled/postponed beyond June 28, 2026
  • Fight distance (decision): Resolves Yes only if all scheduled rounds complete and result is determined by judges' scorecards (includes judge-declared draws); No for all early stoppages, technical decisions, or technical draws; 50-50 if no contest, not scored, canceled, or postponed beyond June 28, 2026

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Exact threshold timing: If fight ends exactly at 2:30 of any round (0.5, 1.5, or 2.5 threshold), all round duration markets resolve 50-50
  • Draw outcomes: Majority draw or split draw determined by judges' scorecards after all rounds resolve winner markets to 50-50; judge-declared draws in fight distance market resolve to Yes
  • Disqualification: If either fighter is disqualified, KO/TKO and submission markets resolve No; winner and fight distance markets resolve 50-50
  • No contest or not scored: All markets resolve 50-50 if bout is ruled no contest or not scored
  • Postponement beyond June 28, 2026: If fight is postponed beyond June 28, 2026, all markets resolve 50-50; if rescheduled within this window, resolution proceeds normally on new date
Timing: Resolution occurs immediately upon official UFC announcement of fight result. Deadline for all markets is June 28, 2026; any postponement beyond this date triggers 50-50 resolution across all markets. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect real-time trader consensus and differ from traditional sportsbook lines, which are set by oddsmakers and adjusted for hold. Sportsbooks typically move lines based on sharp action and liability management, while prediction markets aggregate distributed participant views with no house edge. For the Lopes vs Garcia fight, comparing Polymarket implied probabilities to major sportsbook moneylines can reveal whether the crowd is more or less confident than professional bookmakers. Discrepancies often signal where informed traders see value relative to public betting patterns.

On Kalshi, the Lopes vs Garcia matchup is priced as a binary contract reflecting the probability that Diego Lopes wins the fight. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. The contract trades between 0 and 100, with the current market price implying a specific win probability for Lopes. Traders buy or sell shares based on their conviction, and the price discovery process reflects accumulated bets from all participants. Kalshi's regulatory framework and order-matching engine determine how quickly prices adjust to new information, fight news, or injury reports. Settlement occurs after the official UFC result is confirmed.

Key catalysts include fighter injury reports, training camp updates, and official weigh-in results. Social media activity, recent fight footage analysis, and expert commentary can shift trader sentiment rapidly. Changes to the fight card or venue conditions may also influence odds. Betting action from known sharp bettors or large position accumulation can trigger price momentum. News about either fighter's recent performance, weight cuts, or personal circumstances could move the market. As fight week approaches, increased media coverage and public interest typically drive higher trading volume and volatility on Polymarket.
