On Polymarket, this market is priced through user-driven trading, which often differs from traditional sportsbook lines due to sharper, real-time adjustments. Prediction markets reflect aggregated trader sentiment and can show wider or narrower spreads than sportsbooks, depending on recent performance data and public perception. The gap between these odds and sportsbook lines may also shift with new fight announcements, training updates, or betting trends. On Polymarket and Kalshi, this market can diverge because each platform hosts its own user base and liquidity pool, leading to varied pricing dynamics. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, differing trading volumes or user sentiment on each venue may push probabilities in distinct directions. Additionally, each platform may have unique market designs or fee structures that affect how traders place bets, further widening the gap between the two sites for the Spivac vs Petrino fight market.
