Price differences between Polymarket and Kalshi can arise from varying user bases, liquidity levels, and trading activity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, if one platform has deeper volume or more active traders, its prices may adjust faster to new information. Additionally, each venue may have distinct market designs or fee structures that influence how traders place bets, leading to divergent odds even for the same event.
Key signals that could shift this market include fight-related news such as training updates, injury reports, or changes in betting momentum from high-profile analysts. Media coverage highlighting either fighter’s advantages, as well as any last-minute adjustments to fight conditions, can also cause traders to re-evaluate probabilities and adjust their positions accordingly.
