Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their books and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. Over time, prediction market prices often become more accurate than traditional odds, especially as more information becomes available and more traders participate. However, sportsbook odds can still offer a useful comparison point when evaluating the potential value in this market.
