Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own analysis, incorporating a profit margin, while this market is driven by traders directly expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a particular exact score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. This can sometimes lead to more accurate predictions, as the market aggregates diverse perspectives.
