Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic: the market resolves based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 19, 2026, with consistent handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from La Liga/La Liga 2 governing body or event organizers, with fallback to credible reporting consensus if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
UD Almería win market resolves YES if and only if UD Almería wins the match after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Málaga CF win market resolves YES if and only if Málaga CF wins the match after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Draw market resolves YES if and only if the match ends in a draw after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Exactly one of the three outcome markets will resolve YES; the other two resolve NO.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, the draw market resolves YES and the win markets resolve NO.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed. Resolution then occurs based on the actual match outcome.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, the draw market resolves YES (treating cancellation as a draw outcome), while both win markets resolve NO.
Extra Time and Penalties Excluded: Resolution is based exclusively on the outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shootouts are not considered.
Resolution Source Hierarchy: Primary source is official La Liga/La Liga 2 statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion, credible reporting consensus is used as fallback.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result by La Liga/La Liga 2 governing body after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 19, 2026, or within 2 hours thereafter if official statistics require additional time to publish.
