Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, being driven by the collective wisdom of traders, can sometimes provide more accurate probabilities, especially as new information emerges. However, sportsbook odds reflect the views of professional oddsmakers and may react quickly to breaking news or injury reports. Comparing the two can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making.
