Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market aims to represent the true probability as assessed by traders. However, discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in market participants. It’s common to see prediction markets reacting more quickly to new information and potentially offering more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches. Comparing these odds can provide a well-rounded view of expectations.
