This set of markets tracks how many points are scored in the final quarter of a college football game between Tulane and Duke. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams combined in that specific quarter.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the 4th quarter (excluding overtime) of the Tulane vs Duke college football game scheduled for September 5, 2026. For any market, if the combined score exceeds the specified threshold, it resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. Only points scored during regulation 4th quarter play count—overtime points are excluded. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi disclaims any affiliation with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set their odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market incorporates the collective beliefs of many individual traders. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, especially before significant events or when public opinion shifts. Comparing the two can be a useful exercise in assessing the potential value in either market, but remember that each represents a distinct form of forecasting.
This market resolves around Sep 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final point total scored in the 4th quarter of the Tulane vs Duke game will be used to determine whether the 'Over' or 'Under' contracts will pay out. The official game statistics will serve as the basis for verification. Traders will be able to see the final result reflected in their account balances shortly after the game concludes and the outcome is officially reported.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Tulane or Duke would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to affect scoring, could also move the market. Late-breaking news about coaching strategies or team morale might also play a role. Finally, large volume trades from informed participants could shift the price, reflecting new information or a change in sentiment about the likely outcome of the game.
