Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to trader dynamics and the decentralized nature of Polymarket. While sportsbooks may set their odds based on analytics and risk management, prediction markets let participants bet directly on their beliefs, which can lead to sharper or more volatile pricing. Comparing the two can reveal where public sentiment or insider expectations diverge from institutional lines.
