On Polymarket, the crowd-sourced probability incorporates real-time trader sentiment and can react faster to new information than sportsbooks, which may take longer to adjust. This divergence means you might see sharper or more volatile pricing in this market compared to standard betting odds.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders collectively set the price through their bets, which determines the implied probability for each outcome. The current top outcome reflects the aggregate view of all participants, and any new trades shift the odds accordingly.
