Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time crowd sentiment rather than fixed bookmaker pricing. Sportsbooks adjust odds to manage liability and profit margins, while prediction markets move continuously as traders transact. For the Türkiye vs. United States second half result, comparing Polymarket implied probabilities to major sportsbook spreads can reveal whether the crowd is more or less bullish on either team than professional oddsmakers. These differences can highlight value or consensus shifts as match time approaches.

On Polymarket, the Türkiye vs. United States second half result is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell outcome shares. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome has a bid-ask spread reflecting current supply and demand; the midpoint approximates the market's implied probability. Prices update in real time as new orders execute. Traders profit by correctly predicting the second half result, and prices naturally gravitate toward higher levels for outcomes the crowd believes are more likely. Liquidity and trading volume on Polymarket determine how quickly prices respond to new information.

The market resolves on Jun 26, 2026. Resolution is determined by the official final score and result of the second half of the Türkiye vs. United States match. The outcome reflects what actually occurs in play during the second 45 minutes, including any injury time. Once the match concludes and the official result is confirmed, the market settles according to the predetermined outcome criteria. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless.

Key catalysts include team lineups and injury announcements before kickoff, which shift expectations for second half performance. First half scoreline and momentum heavily influence second half odds; a team trailing may be priced higher if they show attacking intent. In-game events such as red cards, injuries to key players, or tactical substitutions during the first half will move prices significantly. Weather conditions, crowd energy, and halftime adjustments also matter. Close to match time, any official updates on player availability or team news can trigger sharp repricing on Polymarket.
