Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome, potentially leading to more efficient pricing. If there's a significant discrepancy, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the probability of a particular result, or that new information hasn't yet been fully incorporated into sportsbook lines.

This market resolves around Sep 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the result will be determined by the official second half result as reported by a recognized sports data provider. The outcome will be based on which team either wins the second half, or if the second half ends in a draw. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine the winning shares and distribute payouts accordingly.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before it resolves. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Tottenham Hotspur or West Ham United would likely cause significant shifts. Tactical changes announced by either manager, or even unexpected weather conditions on match day, could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, in-match events during the first half, such as early goals or red cards, will almost certainly lead to rapid price adjustments as traders react to the evolving game state and reassess the probabilities.
