Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit from margins, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. It's common to see discrepancies, especially early on, as prediction markets can be more sensitive to new information and shifts in public opinion. However, as the event approaches, the odds on Polymarket tend to converge with those offered by major sportsbooks, though differences can still occur due to varying market dynamics and user bases.
