All platforms (Polymarket and Kalshi) resolve markets based on the official final score from mlssoccer.com for the April 18, 2026 Toronto FC vs. Austin FC match, measured only within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, with identical handling of postponements (market remains open) and cancellations (50-50 resolution).Primary resolution logic: Official final score published on mlssoccer.com as recognized by MLS (the governing body and event organizer)

Core resolution logic:

  • All spread markets resolve based on the goal differential: Toronto FC (-2.5) resolves YES if Toronto wins by 3+; Austin FC (-2.5) resolves YES if Austin wins by 3+; Toronto FC (-1.5) resolves YES if Toronto wins by 2+; Austin FC (-1.5) resolves YES if Austin wins by 2+.
  • All over/under markets resolve based on combined goals: O/U 1.5 resolves YES if combined total is 2+; O/U 2.5 resolves YES if combined total is 3+; O/U 3.5 resolves YES if combined total is 4+; O/U 4.5 resolves YES if combined total is 5+.
  • Both Teams to Score resolves YES if both teams each score at least one goal; resolves NO if either team scores zero goals.
  • Resolution scope is limited to the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only (no extra time or penalties).
  • If the game is postponed, markets remain open until completion. If the game is canceled with no make-up, all markets resolve 50-50.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement and Rescheduling: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the game is completed on its rescheduled date. Markets do not resolve until the official final score is published.
  • Cancellation Without Make-Up: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, all markets in the group resolve 50-50 (split evenly between YES and NO outcomes).
  • Incomplete Match: If the match is started but not completed (abandoned), resolution follows the official final score as published by mlssoccer.com for the portion played.
  • Delayed Official Statistics: If mlssoccer.com does not publish final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, resolution may use consensus of credible reporting as a secondary source.
