This event group covers the exact final score outcomes for the Coppa Italia match between Torino FC and Carrarese Calcio scheduled for August 15, 2026. Polymarket markets resolve based on the precise score after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalties. Kalshi markets focus on goal thresholds over/under after the same regulation time.
In the upcoming Coppa Italia game between Torino FC and Carrarese Calcio, scheduled for August 15, 2026 at 3:15 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Torino FC vs. Carrarese Calcio match originally scheduled for August 15, 2026 at 3:15 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
All markets resolve based solely on the total number of goals scored during the regular 90 minutes plus any stoppage time added by the referee, explicitly excluding any goals scored during extra time or penalty shootouts. For each market, resolution to 'Yes' occurs only if the total goals exceed the specified threshold (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, or 5.5). If the exact threshold is met (e.g., exactly 1 goal for the Over 0.5 market), it resolves as 'Yes' due to the nature of the 'over' condition. All markets share identical timing and scope conditions, differing only in the goal count threshold that determines resolution.
Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect the actual betting activity of participants rather than set probabilities. In this market, the prices can be more volatile and may offer better or worse value depending on trader sentiment. For example, if traders believe a draw is more likely, the odds for a 0-0 score could shift sharply, potentially creating mispricings compared to sportsbook lines, which are set by professionals and may include adjustments for sharp and retail betting patterns.
