In the upcoming LPL best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-07-22 11:40 UTC: if Team WE wins the series, the market will resolve to "Team WE"; if Top Esports wins the series, the market will resolve to "Top Esports". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official LPL broadcast and https://lolesports.com. Note: Opinion will resolve this market strictly based on the first final result officially published or announced by a designated resolution source. Any subsequent revision, correction, or reversal will not affect the resolution.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-money stakes and continuous price discovery rather than static expert opinion. On Opinion, traders incorporate breaking news, betting patterns, and crowd wisdom into live odds, which can shift rapidly. Analysts typically publish forecasts at fixed intervals and may rely on historical data or qualitative judgment. Comparing this market's odds to published analyst predictions reveals whether the crowd is more bullish or bearish than experts, offering insight into where consensus may be undervaluing or overvaluing each outcome.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each possible outcome. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the crowd's aggregate belief in that outcome's probability, ranging from near zero to near 100. As new trades execute, prices adjust in real time. Traders profit by buying low and selling high, or by holding shares until resolution. The bid-ask spread and order depth indicate liquidity and confidence; tighter spreads suggest strong consensus, while wider spreads may signal uncertainty or lower participation.
This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will reflect the final result of the matchup as documented by official esports sources and match records. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive their payout automatically, while losing positions expire worthless. Until that date, prices remain fluid and responsive to any developments that could influence the match result.
Key catalysts for this market include roster announcements, player injuries or substitutions, recent team performance in qualifying rounds, and meta shifts in the game being played. Coaching changes, internal team disputes, or public statements from players can also shift sentiment. Tournament bracket positioning and seeding may affect perceived difficulty. Media coverage and community hype can drive retail participation and volatility. Closer to the event date, warm-up match results and pre-game analysis typically amplify price movement. Any unexpected news about either team's preparation or circumstances will likely trigger rapid repricing as traders reassess their positions.
