Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different kind of wisdom than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective intelligence of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. As a result, you may find that the probabilities implied by this market diverge from those offered by traditional sportsbooks, particularly as new information becomes available. It's common to see prediction markets more accurately reflect true probabilities, especially when there's strong public interest and informed trading activity.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a probability distribution. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the share price will rise, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the aggregated predictions of all participants, providing a forward-looking assessment of the Tolentino doubles match.

Unexpected results in earlier rounds of the tournament involving these players could also have a significant impact.
