PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi markets resolve based on the official tournament winner declared by Chess.com, with consistent tie-breaking and edge case handling.Primary resolution logic: Official information from Chess.com (https://www.chess.com/events/info/2026-titled-tuesday-blitz)

Core resolution logic:

  • If a listed player wins, their market resolves to Yes; all others resolve to No
  • If no listed player wins, the "any other player" market resolves to Yes
  • If multiple listed players are declared winners, the market resolves in favor of the player whose name comes first alphabetically
  • If the tournament is postponed after September 15, 2026, canceled, or a winner is not declared within that timeframe, all markets resolve to Other (Polymarket) or according to the specific market's cancellation rules (Kalshi)

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Tournament Postponement: If postponed after September 15, 2026, Polymarket resolves to Other; Kalshi markets resolve according to their specific cancellation rules
  • Multiple Winners: Resolved in favor of the player whose listed name comes first alphabetically
  • Unlisted Winner: The "any other player" market resolves to Yes
Timing: Resolution occurs after the tournament concludes on September 1, 2026, and the winner is officially declared by Chess.comOur PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market will resolve according to the winner of Titled Tuesday on September 1, 2026 11:59 PM ET. If the listed player does not play their corresponding market will resolve to "No". If this tournament is postponed after September 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple players are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Chess.com (https://www.chess.com/events/info/2026-titled-tuesday-blitz); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Kalshi

Each market specifies that if the named player wins the Titled Tuesday weekly chess competition scheduled for September 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM EDT, the respective market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. All markets refer to the same event: a blitz-format Swiss tournament consisting of 11 rounds. If any listed player does not participate in the event, their individual market automatically resolves to No. Kalshi explicitly states it is not affiliated with or connected to the governing league organizing the competition, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. The markets collectively cover numerous participants, each with identical resolution conditions based on their own performance in the event.
