This group of markets predicts whether specific chess players will finish in the top 8 of the Titled Tuesday tournament scheduled for September 1, 2026. The outcome depends on the final standings published by Chess.com after the tournament concludes.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed player finishes in the top 8 of Titled Tuesday on September 1, 2026, according to the final standings published by the tournament organizer. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If the listed player does not play, their corresponding market will resolve to "No". If this tournament is postponed after September 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or final standings have not been published within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Chess.com (https://www.chess.com/events/info/2026-titled-tuesday-blitz); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Each market specifies that if the named player finishes within the top eight positions in the Titled Tuesday weekly chess competition scheduled for September 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM EDT, the market resolves to 'Yes.' The competition follows a blitz format and consists of 11 rounds in a Swiss-system tournament structure. All markets share identical secondary rules, clarifying that Kalshi has no official affiliation with the governing league and that all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Resolution depends solely on the player's final ranking relative to the top-eight threshold, with no additional conditions or exceptions applied across markets.
