Description

The Open Championship is one of professional golf's four major tournaments. These markets track whether individual players will shoot below specific stroke thresholds during the first round of the 2026 event. If a player withdraws before completing Round 1, their market resolves to the fair market price at the time of withdrawal.

Kalshi

Each market resolves based on whether a specific player records a score under a designated stroke threshold in Round 1 of the 2026 The Open Championship. Thresholds vary by player, ranging from 67.5 to 75.5 strokes, reflecting differences in player skill and seeding. If a player completes Round 1 and their final score is below their assigned threshold, the market resolves to Yes; if their score equals or exceeds the threshold, it resolves to No. If a player withdraws or does not complete Round 1 for any reason, their market resolves to the fair market price at the time of withdrawal rather than a binary outcome. Official scoring from The Open Championship is used to determine all resolutions.
