Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital. This market's odds may move faster or slower than sportsbooks depending on which venue reacts first to team news, injuries, or betting patterns. Comparing the two can reveal where informed traders see value relative to conventional bookmakers.

On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the aggregate confidence of all active traders; as new information emerges or sentiment shifts, prices adjust in real time. Each outcome is priced between 0 and 100 cents, representing the implied probability. Higher prices indicate stronger trader conviction, while lower prices suggest skepticism or uncertainty about that result occurring.

This market resolves around Jul 14, 2026, once the second half of the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the final score or result recorded during the second half only, independent of the first-half scoreline. Resolution occurs after official confirmation, ensuring accuracy and fairness for all traders. Early settlement is not typical unless the match is abandoned or officially voided.

Team news—injuries to key players, lineup changes, or tactical shifts announced before kickoff—can significantly shift odds. Live match developments during the first half, such as early goals or red cards, often influence second-half expectations and trader positioning. Betting patterns and sharp money flowing into one outcome may also trigger price movement as other traders react. Weather conditions, venue factors, and recent form updates closer to match day can all trigger repricing as new information becomes available.
