If Charlotte wins the first half, the corresponding market resolves to Yes. If The Citadel wins the first half, its market resolves to Yes. If the first half ends in a tie, the tie market resolves to Yes. Only points scored during the official first half count toward resolution. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time, the market remains open and resolves based on the official result of the first half as it occurs. If the game fails to start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. On Kalshi, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds often diverge from sportsbook odds due to different participant motivations and information sources. Traders may price in factors beyond win probability, such as market sentiment or recent performance trends. This can lead to variations in implied probabilities compared to standard sportsbook lines. The dynamics of this market allow for more nuanced betting opportunities, potentially offering better value depending on trader insights versus sportsbook assessments.
This market resolves around Sep 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winner of the first half will be determined by the official game results, and the market will close accordingly based on that data.
Several key signals could influence this market before Sep 5, 2026. Team injuries, coaching changes, or standout player performances may shift trader expectations. Momentum swings during early game play, such as dominant first-half starts, often drive rapid market adjustments. Public sentiment and media coverage also play a role, especially if polls or expert analyses update closer to the event. Any surprise lineup decisions or strategic shifts could further impact pricing as traders react in real time.
