In an upcoming professional League of Legends match, two teams, The Bandits and Senshi Esports Club, will compete over several maps. This event focuses specifically on determining the winner of the third map in their match scheduled for September 10, 2026.
The market resolves to Yes if either The Bandits or Senshi Esports Club wins map 3 in their scheduled match on Sep 10, 2026 at 12:00 PM EDT. If the match or map is postponed beyond 48 hours, cancelled, or forfeited before play begins, the market resolves to the fair market price. If a map begins and is later forfeited, resolution follows the official result from the governing body. Kalshi disclaims any affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which may be influenced by factors like house bias or initial public perception. Sportsbooks typically set lines to balance betting action and ensure profit, while this market allows participants to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each outcome. If there’s a significant discrepancy between the two, it could indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the event, or vice versa. Examining these differences can provide valuable insights into the perceived value of each possible result.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome. The price of a contract reflects the market’s implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy contracts for a particular team, the price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market efficiently incorporates new information as it becomes available, leading to dynamic price adjustments based on collective sentiment and trading activity. This creates a real-time assessment of the likelihood of each team winning map 3.
This market resolves around Sep 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of map 3 in the Bandits vs. Senshi Esports Club match. The platform will verify the result against official game data and publicly available sources to determine which team secured victory. Traders holding contracts for the winning team will receive a payout, while those holding contracts for the losing team will not.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market before resolution. Unexpected news regarding player form, team strategies, or even potential roster changes could shift market sentiment. Major upsets in other matches featuring these teams could also impact confidence levels. In-game performance during the early stages of the match, if publicly available, might also cause adjustments to the odds. Any information that alters the perceived probability of either team winning map 3 has the potential to move this market significantly.
