This market covers the exact set score outcome of the professional tennis match between Thanasi Kokkinakis and Alexander Bublik at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Round of 128 on June 29. The match will be settled based on the final set score achieved by either player.
The market resolves based on the final set score of the Thanasi Kokkinakis vs Alexander Bublik match at 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Round of 128. If the match does not occur due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation before play begins, the market resolves to fair price. If postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, outcomes that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; outcomes that cannot be unconditionally settled resolve to fair market price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders risking real capital on their beliefs about the outcome. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because participants have direct financial exposure. However, sportsbooks may move faster on breaking news. Comparing the two can reveal where informed traders see value relative to traditional betting venues.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares corresponding to each possible exact score. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the collective willingness of buyers and sellers to transact at that level. As new information emerges or trader conviction shifts, the implied probability of each score adjusts in real time. Shares are fractional, allowing precise position sizing, and the market remains open to trading activity until close.
This market resolves around Jun 29, 2026, once the Kokkinakis vs Bublik match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact set and game score at the end of play. All shares corresponding to the correct final score will be worth one dollar, while all other shares expire worthless. Resolution is automatic once the match result is confirmed and published by official tennis authorities or major sports data providers.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before the match begins or during play. Pre-match catalysts include recent form, head-to-head records, court surface preference, injury updates, and ranking changes. Once the match starts, live score developments—such as one player winning the first set decisively or breaking serve unexpectedly—will trigger rapid repricing as traders update their probability estimates. Weather delays, player momentum swings, and tactical adjustments also influence how traders perceive the likelihood of each exact score outcome.
